Since 1910, Sandringham Bowls has welcomed members to join in bowls, socialise and just have a lot of fun!
To bowl or not to bowl
Sure, we are a bowls club, but bowling is not compulsory: we have Social membership and even Family memberships. Bowling is a lot of fun and is one of those sports that is very easy to do, but very hard to do well. Club members enjoy a very friendly atmosphere and the Club is a great place to just drop in to catch up or have a drink with friends.
All members over the age of 18, including Social members, can on request be given a key to open the clubrooms at any time. We love seeing the clubrooms being used and to encourage this any Full member who wishes to hold an event at the club can do so without cost. It makes a great venue for birthday parties and other celebrations or even just a place for cards or games. It’s best to check with our Functions Director to check availability.
